The 21-year-old admitted it did not take a lot convincing to make him the face of the brand new marketing campaign in the States.
“It was a pretty immediate yes,” he told People. “I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, ‘Yes! Let’s do it!’ Because Bonds in Australia is an absolute icon.
“Also, I’m at this level in my life the place I’m attempting to do as many various and random thrilling issues, and if it is one thing that makes me somewhat bit nervous, that I’ve by no means performed earlier than and it is a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I wish to be doing.”
Irwin revealed how he stays so fit – and why he opted for a little extra training before the shoot.
“I’ve acquired to remain fairly match with all of the loopy stuff I’m doing,” he said. ‘I’m saving crocodiles, I’m in and out of the Aussie bush every day and it’s hard work, so you’ve got to keep pretty good upper body strength, good stamina.”
“I’m representing Australia!” he added. “So I wanted to look my best and to feel my best and just feel really confident. And so I’ve done more sit-ups and had less carbs than I ever have in my life, but it’s been fun.”
