The texture on these was slightly weird- they did not unfold within the oven and the ultimate texture was a bit extra crumbly than chewy! I’m going to experiment with not chilling the dough, including some white sugar, and upping the butter to see if that perfects these as a result of I do assume they’re well worth the work 🙂

Then I didn’t have espresso powder and made these fairly late at night time, so as a substitute I brewed a double espresso in my Nespresso machine and scooped from that. In whole I feel I did 1 tbsp-1.5 within the dough, and a teaspoon within the frosting. I added slightly bit extra oatmeal to offset the additional liquid from the espresso (and flax egg, I discover these make issues wetter). Perfect!!!
